| Every police officer knows contemporary trends in the world of elicit drugs is in a constant state of flux. Keeping up with the changes is difficult at best for officers burdened with heavy case loads. Sending your people to seminars is expensive. Our instructors attend major narcotics enforcement seminars to stay abreast of what’s new in the world of street narcotics and the laws affecting their enforcement. We’ll come to you and assist in your enforcement effort with customized sessions for street cops, new narcotics officers and/or veterans.
Emerging Drug Trends / Drugs of Abuse Leadership, Own it, It’s Up to You
From the academy forward, line personnel are told: “You are the backbone of the department, you are a community leader. Society is complex and will demand much of you. You have accepted a grave responsibility and we expect you to handle it with critical thinking, common sense, compassion, courage, decisiveness, ethical behavior, innovation, and integrity”. These leadership traits are inherent to every successful law enforcement candidate. Academy and Basic field training build on these traits but we have fallen short of developing them for maximum effectiveness. This training is designed for the optimum development of strong leaders at every level.
This is a leadership course, not a management course. It establishes the concept of ongoing training and introspection. Continuous education is reinforced, as are values, traits, and skills to further develop us all as leaders. The rewards are great at every level of your agency and for the community you serve. Personnel will enhance their leadership abilities and recognize leadership responsibilities, both in their personal and professional lives.
CTCS will customize the Leadership course to your agency needs. Optimum sessions are presented in two day blocks. Depending upon the size of your agency it is possible to present the training to virtually all your personnel over a continuous six day event. We recommend all ranks participate.
