| Every police officer knows contemporary trends in the world of elicit drugs is in a constant state of flux. Keeping up with the changes is difficult at best for officers burdened with heavy case loads. Sending your people to seminars is expensive. Our instructors attend major narcotics enforcement seminars to stay abreast of what’s new in the world of street narcotics and the laws affecting their enforcement. We’ll come to you and assist in your enforcement effort with customized sessions for street cops, new narcotics officers and/or veterans.

With the ever increasing number of new drugs, substitute drugs, designer drugs, and non-traditional drugs being manufactured, imported, and used by today’s drug culture, law enforcement is faced with the challenge of keeping up with these emerging drug trends and new drugs of abuse. Many of these drugs, like MDMA and LSD Substitutes, DMT, DXM, Kratom, and Salvia Divornorum, are not covered in the traditional drug training curriculum. Additionally, emerging trends in the club and party scene are not well known to law enforcement.
This course will provide the student with the knowledge to identify these drugs, recognize the symptomology, methods of ingestion, and paraphernalia associated with use of these drugs, and discuss the legal aspects of dealing with persons in possession and/or under the influence of these drugs. The course will also discuss the current trends with the club and party scene, as well as misc Medicinal Marijuana Programs (MMP).

TThis class will give participants a firsthand experience of the drug scene. Mini lectures will be followed by hands-on exercises, where participants will cut, weigh, package and simulate administration of drugs such as Marijuana, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Heroin, and PCP. Additionally for each topic area, demonstrations of legal amounts required for Possession for Sale along with the Objective Symptoms of Usage are covered. Attendees will gain valuable experience that will enhance courtroom testimony.
